Our first guests for the 2004 season were from Wisconsin and Missouri, and they hit the jackpot the first day of fishing on June 4 with 5 dandy walleyes that look to be from 6 to 8 pounds (they are ALL hanging below the next bar!!), 2 nice saugers, and a little northern pike
Same fish......one different very happy fisherman.....the biggest walleye got tangled in the motor and got away as it was a very windy day with tough boat handling conditions....the fish made up for the weather though

So they all get into the act on the second day and come in with a dozen in the 6-8 pound range, four eating size, and a northern that opted to stay out of the picture.....what will they do tomorrow to top this??

Fishing picked up early in "03" and the June fishermen got into some nice fish......notice the northern....if you really want some fun come just before ice-out the middle of March on towards April and take a few 15-25 pound northerns through the ice next to shore
