They let us come in once in a while but we are "outside" dogs...photo taken Feb 16, 2008 so we are 4 months old...notice how we stay where we belong

"Little Beau" on the rug and his brother "Bailie" by the door are the only labs we have left now....beautiful 5 year old adults

Hi...I am "Biko", their dad and I was born here too...Bea is my mom and I now live in Minneapolis with Randy...I am a "hunting machine"

I am "Rosie", the proud mom....I love to hunt too, but I also love people

Rosie's puppies were born October 20, 2007....4 guys and 2 girls.....2 of the males are still not spoken for.  This picture was taken when they were 5 days old and they are already 4 times bigger than when they were born.  These will make awesome hunting dogs with master hunters two generations back in their pedigrees.  You also know they are the finest companion dogs you can find.

November 17 and we are 4 weeks old today...fat and fuzzy chowing down on softened dog food

November 20 and we have been moved to the outdoor kennel and we like to play on the fresh straw....we also have a nice house we can go in when we are tired of playing....Grandma Bea, our dad's mom is giving kisses while some of us are playing with the old blanket

I am six weeks old today and just had a bath and my first vaccination.  I am waiting for the taxi driver to give me a ride to Minot, ND where my new owner who had one of my uncles is waiting for me.  I am a guy by the way, and in the picture to the right I am now pacing the floor while I wait

This little girl just had her bath and is waiting for her new owners from Williston to arrive on Dec 2

Little Dakota is waiting for the airlines to process her flight paperwork

Pictures on top and to the left taken November 9 and we'll be 3 weeks old tomorrow....we've only been using our eyes a few days and we can walk around when we're not resting...its also obvious that we will have black noses and eyes

Come on....make room for me...the 2 girls and 2 guys are spoken for, so one of the two males left could be yours

I am actually a lot more comfortable than I look here...it is amazing how big we got in 6 weeks...I still have two good looking brothers for sale

Guess I'll just lay down while I wait...it will be a lot warmer in Tallahassee than it was at home...I'll be coming back to see mom and grandma next fall

I was big but I was a true gentleman

A TRIBUTE TO BO

Bo (AKC name Augie's Bo) was born May 8, 1993 on a farm by Hawley, MN, and he became a permanent resident of the Pleasant Acres Ranch in June of that same year.  We acquired a mate for Bo a couple weeks later in ND.  She was two weeks younger than Bo and we named her Belle.  Bo & Belle were wonderful companion dogs and their offspring has been sold throughout the USA.  Bo was a large framed, muscular guy weighing over 120 pounds in his prime, and he loved to hunt upland birds.  They both claimed special places in our hearts, and we have found that it is very difficult to watch animals cycle through their life much faster than we do.  From furry puppies, to beautiful adults, and on to old age in only 12 1/2 years.  It was a sad day in October of 2005 when we dug a deep, straw lined grave by our campfire pit in the campground area, and laid them to rest in each other's arms forever.  We kept a female from their last litter, Rosie, who had her last litter in October of 2007.  She is also now gone, so all we have as a reminder of these two wonderful dogs are two grandsons of Bo and Belle.  They are 4 and a half years old as this is updated in February of 2012.
